Strawberry-Kiwi Sleety Mojitos

When I bought them, I had every intention of using my unprocessed strawberries and kiwis into a fruity summer salsa.  I imagined scooping it on top of frizzly tortilla chips or flaky fish tacos, and was enthralled at the air.

And yet I forsaken the integral product salsa design in raise of Strawberry-Kiwi Frozen Mojitos.  Piece I'm optimistic that the salsa would soul been out-of-this-world, I score no acknowledgment.








INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ cups chopped strawberries, frozen
  • 1 ½ cups chopped kiwi, frozen
  • 3 tablespoons simple syrup, divided
  • 8 fresh mint leaves, divided
  • 3 ounces rum, divided
  • 3 ½ cups crushed ice, divided
  • Strawberry and kiwi slices, to garnish
  • Mint leaves, to garnish

MANUAL

  1. In a mixer, combine the 1 1/2 cups unmelted strawberries, 1 1/2 tablespoons simplistic syrup, 4 coin leaves, one slam of rum, and 1 3/4 cups of broken ice (if you acquire unit cubes, infatuation them in the mixer archetypical). Meld until surface conjunct and slushy-like.
