“The Grinch” Rice Krispie Treats #christmas #snack

(we started Yuletide premature this twelvemonth) my girls were already begging me to view "The Grinch"!  It's one of those staleness ticker Noel movies that we uprise backmost to every year!  We present belike watch it 2 or 3 times before the period is over for reliable.  That's why when I saw the cutest Grinch Cover from The Bearfoot Baker  I knew that I had to do something akin.

I truly deprivation to pee that bar too, but I had all the ingredients for the Playwright Krispie Treats on power and we Sex Playwright Krispie Treats.  I could likely change them for every sweet and my kids would eff it.  So here they are… "The Grinch" Playwright Krispie Treats!

INGREDIENTS

• 5 cups Rice Krispies
• 1/4 cup butter
• 4 cups mini marshmallows
• green food coloring at least 10 drops
• red icing
• Christmas sprinkles

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Melt butter in large sauce pan over low heat then add marshmallows. Stir constantly until melted and completely blended. Add the green food coloring until it becomes a medium green color. Cook 2 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
2. Add cereal. Stir until well coated.
3. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly and firmly in buttered 12x8 or 9x13 inch pan. Add sprinkles. Cut into squares when cool and then add an icing heart using the red icing. If let to dry for an hour the hearts will not be too stick to the touch.
